It may not be pretty, but the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow simply continue to win. The Broncos once again had a very limited offense on Sunday, but that didn’t seem to stop them from pulling out another win in the fourth quarter and pushing their record to 8-5. For three quarters, Tebow and the offense looked pretty atrocious, though they came alive in the fourth with 10 straight points in the closing minutes to draw even. In OT, the Broncos had all the momentum and pulled out a clutch 13-10 win, giving them yet another win and putting them in position to win the AFC West.
In the game, Tebow hit Demaryius Thomas to draw it to 10-7 and then led the Broncos back down the field for a clutch field goal to push it into OT. And the trend that continues to come out is that you should never bet against Tim Tebow, even if it seems that he has to eventually get figured out and regress. Though Tebow is very limited in throwing the ball, there’s no denying that he has a clutch ability to lead his team in the fourth quarter, which has continued to deliver wins as we head down the home stretch. Can he win a Superbowl like this? Even though most instincts should suggest no, it’s simply difficult to go against Tebow right now. Just ask the Bears.
