Bears Sign Two Draftees

Like other teams in the National Football League, the Chicago Bears wasted no time in signing a long list of undrafted free agents as soon as the lockout ended. In addition, the Bears also made sure to begin working on contracts with the team’s draft picks. Two of the team’s picks have officially signed four-year deals, with more to follow.

The two that have signed are fifth-round pick Nathan Enderle and sixth-round pick J.T. Thomas. Enderle, a quarterback, hails from Idaho, while Thomas, a linebacker, comes from West Virginia. According to the Bears’ website, Thomas already had his eye on working with the many legends in the Bears’ defense. He said, “More than the contract, I’m just excited to get back to football, to see some helmets and some shoulder pads. It was good that we got the deal done. I was anxious to get it signed and get that stuff out of the way so I can concentrate on the things I need to do here at camp.”

This season will have many of the veteran stars back on the field in addition to many new faces. Be there to cheer them on by reserving Chicago Bears tickets from StubHub.
