  • Just How Good Was Clausen-Tate Against Washington?

It had all the things you look for in an exciting game- a thrilling overtime finish, long bombs and play-making defenses, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish ended up winning.   • Notre Dame Beats Washington in Overtime!

    Wow, what a game! We sure hope you were at Notre Dame Stadium this past weekend, because this was one for the ages!  The Notre Dame Fighting Irish won in dramatic fashion against the Washington Huskies 37-30 in overtime.   • Notre Dame Beats Purdue 24-21
    September 28, 2009

    It was a close one, but the Irish pulled it out, beating the Purdue Boilermakers 24-21 this past Saturday! We hope you all had tickets and saw it live, or at least saw it on television. What a finish!  The Irish were down 21-7 after the Purdue Boilermakers scored two consecutive TDs in the fourth quarter. However, with three minutes left Jimmy Clause, who was limping from an injury suffered earlier in the game, sealed the deal with a TD pass to Kyle Randolph, putting the Irish up 24-21 with 25 seconds to go.
