CP3′s Triple-Double Evens Series
April 25, 2011Just a couple of years ago, New Orleans point guard Chris Paul was considered to be the best at his position in the National Basketball Association by many fans and experts. However, injuries and a suspect supporting cast have changed that general view of Paul’s game over the past two or so years. People might want to re-think things yet again, as Paul is playing like a man possessed in the postseason. Paul evened the Hornets’ first-round series with the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers with a triple-double last night, dropping 27 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds in front of the home crowd.

CP3 Playoff MVP?
April 21, 2011ESPN’s David Thorpe says New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul has been the Most Valuable Player of the postseason thus far. His Game One performance was fantastic. “Paul was beyond masterful in Los Angeles in Game 1, using ball screens expertly, as always, and being in total control of the entire game,” Thorpe writes. ”His presence and talent were probably worth at least a made basket or two for each teammate he passed to, as he made it as easy as possible for them to make shots. The Lakers had 17 assists for the game against 13 turnovers, while Paul had 14 assists himself to just two turnovers.”
