Magic Rebound in Game 2
April 20, 2011Dwight Howard is a man possessed this postseason. Howard posted his second consecutive monster game last night, this time in a win over the Atlanta Hawks. After posting a huge stat line in a losing effort in Game 1, Howard dropped 33 and 19 last night to even the series at one apiece. The Magic also tightened things up defensively. When asked about any adjustments made after Game 1, Orlando head coach Stan Van Gundy gave his players the credit. “It’s not anything I did — our guys did it,” Van Gundy told reporters after Game 2. ”You gotta get out and take the challenge. … Every game sort of takes on a life of its own and you just gotta do whatever it takes to get the win on that night.”
